Electric wind energy has steadily increased in popularity, although not as easily serves as solar electricity. Why hasn't caught the wind electricity on the more solar electric and other alternative sources of electricity? Here are some reasons:
• Wind power systems have moving parts, unlike solar electricity systems that have just installed and stay put. Moving parts break down easily and are more prone to problems more solar panels that are in a solid form and do not need much repair. Wind turbines are difficult to maintain and can transform the home owners in mechanics, which isn't really something owners don't appreciate.
• Solar electricity has lower requirements for open spaces. Systems of wind electricity may require more space, so that they can access more wind. Dwelling with small spaces cannot consider wind energy.
• Wind power is more invasive than his counterpart of solar energy. Solar panels are less visible, as are usually located on a roof or in the courtyard. Passers-by are not usually these pieces of equipment as eyesores, while wind turbines need to be up in the air, so that they can catch the wind more efficiently. Permits for wind turbines may prove more difficult to get that they are very prominent and not look really visually pleasing.
Solar panels • not create disturbance. Wind turbines do. Vibration and noise from wind turbines can disturb the neighbors. Zoning laws may prohibit noise equipment in residential areas.
Electric wind energy may be less desirable more solar electricity, based on the points raised above. But for some, wind energy could still be an option.
