Question about portable solar panels .. Mine is 12v?

I have had this portable 12v solar panel for my apartment for a while. The only problem is that I have no balcony and I can barely get enough sun to use it with my Cobra 450 400 at 800 watts output converter. Anybody can advise me a method best to use these? Like I have to get more 12v solar panels? I have a small apartment and use it in a window. It is also possible for me to buy a portable storage tank to store the energy accumulated from the sun by the solar panel?

How many W is the panel, and how many watts is the device you are powering and time in a day? Let's say that is a 40W stereo that is in three hours a day. 40Wx3hours = 120Watt hours. Now we can calculate how long the solar panel. If this is a panel of 30 W and get four hours of sun a day (no sunshine, this is the time it receives the equivalent a standard test condition), which is probably closer to 2.5 or 3 hours of sun in the winter depending on where you are. 30W x 4 hours of sun = 120Watt hours. Perfect, except that there are losses in the system, so you need to calculate about 30% of total loss, which takes you to 84wh. That is too small for loading. A sealed AGM battery 12 V can be used to store energy. You'd need to calculate the size needed for that. There is a calculator available for many of these operations for you. You need to figure out your first charge, and enter the "White Helmets" in this calculator.
